Treasurer :

149 W Black Street
Rock Hill SC 29730
Office: 803.326.2300
About:Tina began working with York County in January 1988 in the Tax Collectors Office, and then moved to the Treasurer’s Office in Accounts Payable for almost ten years. In 1996 Tina looking for a change of pace, accepted a position with the Office of Emergency Management as the Information Coordinator. For the last fourteen years, Tina has watched the technology surrounding E9-1-1/Communications change from hand drawn maps using colored pencils to the wonders of GIS. Currently, Tina is the GIS Specialist for the Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Safety Communications. She is challenged daily to putting GIS to the test maintaining ever-changing police, fire and medical response layers to be used by 9-1-1. Tina’s position with York County also requires her to provide up-to-the minute GIS information in the event of a natural or technological emergency in York County. Tina expressed “GIS is a great tool used throughout York County and we have only scratched the surface.” Tina has been involved with SCARC since 2001, when we gathered at the SC Department of Archives Building. She has been involved with the Registration Committee since 2004. Proudly, Tina will fill the 2010 Treasurer position.
