SCGIS 2008: SC & GIS Growing Together

On behalf of the Conference Committee, great thanks go to you who attended the SCGIS 2008 Conference in Greenville, South Carolina. I do not think anyone could have anticipated the beautiful weather. The sessions were very informative and professionally presented. I noticed an increased interaction in the sessions as never before. I found this to be a positive sign that GIS is alive and well in South Carolina.
I look forward to another stellar year. Many thanks to Bill Hogue for his leadership of SCARC over the past year. The response and involvement witnessed in this years conference is in many ways a result of his leadership of SCARC. Thanks again. - Tim Oliver SCARC President |
